New Light Industries is a small research company founded in 1992 by Steve McGrew and located in Spokane, WA, USA. We are technology developers with capabilities in:

We perform internally funded R&D and contract R&D, engineering support, and consulting. Our technologies are invested in spin-off companies or licensed. We also perform some special-order equipment manufacturing and short runs of high-security hologram production.

What's New at NLI?

• February 2008: Added a confocal microscope to our holographic forensics lab.
• December 2007: Introduced Holo-Matrix technology.
• June 2007: Opened a new holographic forensics lab.
• April 2007: Began developing remotely readable fluorescent marks (OFF Naval Research).
• August 2006: Opened new production facility for short runs of high-security hologram labels. This facility includes hologram mastering using out HI-2400 system, electroforming, embossing, lamination, and diecutting.
• July 2006: We built and delivered a Universal Hologram Scanner to a customer in Germany for use in anti-counterfeit forensics.
